The City Hall parkade reopens on Friday, December 13, in time to accommodate downtown visitors for the holiday season. New security measures will change how people enter and exit City Hall from the parkade, and signage has been added to help guide visitors.
Parkade Hours and Access
- The parkade is open to the public Monday - Sunday from 7:45 a.m. - 12 a.m. Overhead parkade doors will automatically open to vehicles on the ramp starting at 7:45 a.m. No public access to the parkade is available outside of parkade operational hours.
- City Hall is open daily from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. To access City Hall from the parkade, use the elevators on parking levels P1 and P3.
- Between 6 p.m. - 12 a.m., the parkade can be accessed through the street-level pedestrian door on the southeast side of the building. There is no public access to the parkade between 12 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.
- There is no access to the parkade from the Churchill LRT station pedway. Parkade users must exit the parkade to access the pedway.
Parkade Rates and Payment
- Parkade rates are as follows:
- Monday to Friday: $5/hour, $20/day maximum from 7:45 a. m. - 6 p.m.
- $15 evening maximum from 6 p.m. - midnight.
- Saturday and Sunday: $2/hour, $10/day maximum from 7:45 a.m. - 6 p.m. $10 evening maximum from 6 p.m. - midnight.
- Please note that event night parking rates are in effect when there is a major event at Rogers Place. For more information regarding the parking rates during these events, please visit edmonton.ca/EPark.
- Parkade users can pay for parking via the Hotspot Parking app or website or the EPark pay machines. EPark machines are available on P1 and P3 near the public elevators, and on P3 near the LRT pedway access.
Accessibility
- Accessible parking stalls are available on P1 and P3. Parkade users can also access the PI and P3 elevators from P2 and P4.
