City invites input on Snow and Ice Control Program and Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion Program
May 24, 2022

The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow our communities, establish government services and prepare our city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape their city.

Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
  • Snow and Ice Control Program. The City would like to hear from Edmontonians on proposed changes, including possible budget changes that would be needed to support this program. City Council has the final decision for program changes and budget approvals. Feedback will help inform the decisions made by City Council. The survey closes on May 29.
  • Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion Program. The City is providing an update on the St. Albert Trail to 97 Street section of Yellowhead Trail and inviting input from residents of the following neighbourhoods:
  • Prince Charles - An online survey on Engaged Edmonton from May 24 to June 15 and in-person session on May 24 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Inglewood Community Hall.
  • Sherbrooke - An online survey on Engaged Edmonton from May 26 to June 15 and in-person session on May 26 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Sherbrooke Community Hall.
  • Dovercourt - An online survey on Engaged Edmonton from May 31 to June 15 and in-person session on May 31 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Dovercourt Community Hall.
