City invites input on residential parking, digital signs, and alley renewal
April 11, 2023
The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow our communities, establish government services and prepare our city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape their city.
Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
Rideau Park and Royal Gardens Alley Renewal. Join the project team at an upcoming public information event (drop-in) on April 11 to have your construction questions answered. For more information visit: edmonton.ca/RideauParkRoyalGardens.
Crawford Plains, Daly Grove & Pollard Meadows Alley Renewal. Join the project team at an upcoming public information event (drop-in) on April 13 to have your construction questions answered. For more information visit: edmonton.ca/CrawfordPlainsDalyGrovePollardMeadows.
Gariepy Neighbourhood and Alley Renewal. From April 12 to 30, visit edmonton.ca/BuildingGariepy to review the draft design, participate in a public engagement session and take the survey.
Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
Digital Signs Survey. The City of Edmonton seeks your feedback on the draft Digital Signage Policy. Digital signs are electronically-controlled images, video or multimedia content used for advertising, events and wayfinding. We need your input to develop principles and guidelines to inform the future placement of digital signs. Share your feedback through the online survey available at edmonton.ca/digitalsignpolicy.
Silver Berry Street Lab. The City of Edmonton is exploring an expansion of the Vision Zero Street Lab in Silver Berry after hearing about additional street safety concerns in the area. We want to hear perspectives from people who use all modes of transportation to get around this community. Residents may attend a Walk and Roll Audit, complete an online survey or provide feedback on the interactive mapping tool. Visit engaged.edmonton.ca/SilverBerryStreetLab.
Residential Parking Program. The City of Edmonton seeks feedback from Edmontonians on their experience with the Residential Parking Program. The Residential Parking Program manages busy street curbsides in residential neighbourhoods next to popular destinations like main streets, attractions, and major institutions. Share your perspectives on the Residential Parking Program by May 2 at engaged.edmonton.ca/residentialparking.
