The City will trial windrow pickups in the Griesbach neighbourhood starting Friday, January 21. This trial will help the City assess its process and cost for windrow pick up in residential areas.
The community of Griesbach was selected, as it allows crews to test and monitor windrow pick up on many different types of roads. Affected areas within this community will have no parking signs posted a minimum 24 hours in advance, starting today.
To ensure that crews are able to access the areas where they will be picking up snow, vehicles that are parked in the no parking areas will be subject to a courtesy tow to a nearby location within the Griesbach community. Residents unable to locate their vehicles can contact Cliff’s Towing at 780-451-1555 to locate their vehicle.
