City pays tribute to Edmontonians lost on Flight 752

Edmontonians are invited to join Mayor Don Iveson and the Iranian Heritage Society of Edmonton to pay tribute to the members of our community who perished in the crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 on January 8, 2020.

Date: Saturday, February 22
Time: 1 p.m.
Location: City Room, City Hall, 1 Sir Winston Churchill Square
The aircraft was carrying 176 people, including nine crew members and 15 children. There were a total of 63 Canadians on board; 13 passengers were from Edmonton.

Our city has been unified by this tragedy and will continue to stand together with the Iranian people. This tribute is an opportunity to remember those we lost while celebrating their lives and accomplishments.

Mayor Don Iveson will present the Iranian Heritage Association of Edmonton with a Condolence Book on behalf of the City.
