Edmonton Elks fans will once again be able to use pre-purchased, game-day tickets to access Edmonton Transit Service on their way to and from home games at Commonwealth Stadium this season. Game-day tickets can be used as valid fare for Park & Ride service, as well as on regular bus or LRT service for two hours before the game, during the game and two hours after the game ends.
Starting 90 minutes before game-time, Football Park & Ride buses will operate from the following locations:
- Davies Transit Centre: 100 Davies Station NW
- Eaux Claires Lot: 97 Street and 157 Avenue
- Lewis Farms:1021 Webber Greens Drive
- Note: this location has limited parking spots due to Valley Line West LRT construction
- NAIT Lots A/B and D:109 Street and 118 Avenue
- Note: parking is $6 at these lots.
- Nakî Transit Centre (St. Albert): 15520 Campbell Road
This service starts on May 27, for the Edmonton Elks pre-season game versus the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and continues for home games during the regular season.
Elks fans can also take the Capital Line LRT to Stadium Station, which is a short walk from Commonwealth Stadium. Capital Line trains will run at regular service frequencies on Elks home game days.
Bus routes 2, 3 and 101 will use temporary stops near Commonwealth Stadium on 86 Street/112 Avenue, as these routes detour from Stadium Transit Centre on Edmonton Elks home game days.
Please note that parking restrictions in neighbourhoods around the stadium will be in effect for game days. When restrictions are in place, only residents with valid parking permits can park on streets in those areas.
