Festival season is in full swing and Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) can take you where you want to go for your summer adventure.
ETS will offer Park & Ride shuttle service for two upcoming events: the Edmonton Heritage Festival at William Hawrelak Park and Monster Jam at Commonwealth Stadium. The special event two-way fare of $6 will apply for both events. To ensure a smooth boarding process and help minimise line-ups, riders are asked to have their exact fare ready before boarding the bus. Please note operators and ETS staff do not carry change or fare products.
Riders will only need to pay when initially boarding the bus at the Park & Ride site. Other accepted forms of payment include:
- Two bus tickets
- Valid ETS transfer plus $3
- Validated LRT ticket plus $3
- Pre-purchased Family/Day Pass
- Monthly and Seniors passes (including St. Albert and Strathcona County passes)
Regular ETS fares will apply for the LRT and regular bus service. Riders 12 years of age and under ride for free on Park & Ride, bus and LRT service when with a fare-paying adult.
Heritage Festival
ETS is the best choice for many Edmontonians planning to visit the Edmonton Heritage Festival as no public parking will be allowed at William Hawrelak Park and Emily Murphy Park. Park & Ride shuttle service will be available the following locations across the city:
- Davies City Lot: 61 Avenue and 86 Street
- Eaux Claires Transit Centre: 157 Avenue and 97 Street
- Health Sciences LRT Station: 114 Street and 84 Avenue SB
- Note: Paid parking is available at the Jubilee Car Park.
- Heritage Valley Transit Centre: Ellerslie Road and 127 Street
- Lewis Farms via Callingwood Heritage Special
- Begins at Lewis Farms Transit Centre (Webber Greens Drive and 199 Street), then travels to select stops in Callingwood before heading to Hawrelak Park
- MacEwan University surface lot: 109 Street and 104 Avenue SB
- Meadows Transit Centre: 17 Street and Tamarack Way
- Nakî Transit Centre (St. Albert): 15520 Campbell Road
- South Campus Transit Centre: 115A Street and 68 Avenue
- Note: There is no Heritage Festival parking available at South Campus Transit Centre
- Windsor Car Park: 116 Street and 92 Avenue
- Note: Parking is $5 at this location
These shuttles will run from 9:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m on July 30 and 31 and from 9:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m on August 1.
ETS is also offering one neighbourhood shuttle route from Riverbend to South Campus Transit Centre. These buses will provide free shuttle service to the South Campus Park & Ride and will run approximately every 10 minutes.
Monster Jam
ETS Park & Ride shuttle service will be available at the following locations:
Buses will run from 5 to 7 p.m., and then from the end of the event until the stadium is cleared.
ETS will also continue to support riders in reaching their other Edmonton destinations throughout the upcoming long weekend – and beyond. In collaboration with local partners – including K-Days and Taste of Edmonton – ETS welcomes people to transit and encourages residents to use the service to explore their city and connect with their communities.
