ETS detours on 100 Street begin June 10 for LRT construction
June 6, 2019

From June 10 until approximately July 20, 100 Street at 102 Avenue will be closed so that TransEd can build Valley Line LRT tracks across the intersection, resulting in several ETS bus detours. Detours begin at the start of service on Monday, June 10.

ETS will detour routes 7, 8, 15, 52, 60, 61, 62, 63, 66, 68, 69, 70, 72, 81, 82, 85, 90, 112, 512, 856 and 965 to 101 Street between Jasper Avenue and 104 Avenue. Strathcona County routes 401 and 411 will also be detoured to 101 Street ( specific detours are available here ).

Orange and white detour notices will be installed on posts next to closed bus stops and new temporary stops will be added in advance of the detours. Temporary LRT Replacement stops will be marked with pink signage. ETS staff will be available at bus stops on 100 Street on Friday, June 7 and Monday, June 10 to assist passengers in finding their new temporary stops.

Later this summer, the intersection at 97 Street and 102 Avenue will be closed for LRT construction. ETS will provide detour information closer to the start of construction.

During these intersection closures, ETS customers may experience service delays as buses navigate construction sites and manage roadways with increased traffic.

Transit riders are encouraged to plan their trips in advance, double check their route schedules and use real-time tools . For more information about the detours, visit takeETS.com/news .
