ETS pass renewal information
February 25, 2020

The last week in February and first week in March are anticipated to be very busy for ETS passes and lineups at the Edmonton Service Centre in downtown.

On February 21, City Council approved a motion that allows seniors who purchased an ETS annual pass in 2019 (for $136.50), to receive this same price in 2020. To help provide clarity for seniors, below is information regarding timelines, how to purchase your pass and how to avoid lineups at the Edmonton Service Centre. General information about monthly Ride Transit Program passes is also included.

Those who purchased an ETS senior annual pass in 2019, and have already purchased a 2020 senior annual pass for $374, will have a refund of $237.50 mailed to them in 4 - 6 weeks. There is no need to visit the Edmonton Service Centre.

Those who purchased an ETS senior annual pass in 2019, and have not yet purchased a 2020 senior annual pass, can mail a cheque for $136.50, along with their name and address, to: ETS Customer Programs Office, PO Box 2610, Station Main, Edmonton, AB, T5J 9Z9. Passes will be mailed before the end of March. There is no need to visit the Edmonton Service Centre.

Those purchasing a seniors pass for the first time, or those who would rather renew their annual pass in person, are encouraged to visit the Edmonton Service Centre, 2nd floor, Edmonton Tower, 10111 - 104 Avenue, after Tuesday, March 3, to avoid potentially long lineups.

Due to the recently expanded eligibility for free low-income seniors annual passes, seniors with annual incomes below $28,513 are reminded to bring the required qualification documentation to the Edmonton Service Centre to receive their free annual pass.

ETS encourages existing low-income Ride Transit Program members to pick up their monthly passes at any one of 10 City of Edmonton Recreation Centre locations. Regular ETS monthly passes and tickets are offered at the ETS Public Store, and at more than 330 outlets across the city. Visit edmonton.ca/ETSwheretobuy to find a location near you.

To avoid the lines at the Edmonton Service Centre, the public is reminded that they can access a number of City services online, as an alternative to visiting the Edmonton Service Centre in person.
