Take advantage of living in a Winter City and spread some winter cheer by joining the Winterscapes contest. Use snow, ice, lights, decorations and your creativity to transform your yard or outdoor space into a work of art. Check out the Winterscapes Wayfinder—a new map with Winterscape nominee locations. The Winterscapes team will also be at neighbourhood parks this season providing workshops on how you can make your own winterscape. 

Participate by nominating an outdoor space you love, including your own, in one of three categories: Winter Art, Winter Lights or Winter Play. All nominees will be awarded a Winterscapes 2024 Nominee removable window decal to proudly display. A special award will be given to the Winterscapes judging panel’s favourite front yard. Winterscapes runs from December 16, 2023 to February 19, 2024. All submitted photos will be posted on the City of Edmonton Facebook page for public voting.
