Final transition of parking stalls at Century Park
February 20, 2020

Effective March 31, approximately 390 free City-operated parking stalls at Century Park will be returned to the land developer. This transition is in accordance with the lease agreement, as the Park & Ride land does not belong to the City. When this transition takes place on March 31, there will no longer be any free parking stalls at Century Park. All parking stalls will be controlled by the land developer who will be charging market rates for parking stalls. The long-term vision for Century Park ( approved by City Council in 2017) has always been a transit-oriented urban village. Since 2018, the City has gradually returned parking stalls back to the land developer, and the final transition takes place on March 31.
