Instagrammable walls highlight The City Plan guiding values
July 18, 2019

Over the past year Edmontonians have helped identify six guiding values that articulate how people want to experience their future city. These guiding values are the bedrock of The City Plan—Edmonton’s plan for a future city of two million residents. Celebrate those values by taking a selfie in front of new Instagrammable walls in Churchill Square starting July 23.

Date: Tuesday, July 23
Time: Noon - 1 p.m.
Location: Sir Winston Churchill Square

Each of the values—Belong, Live, Thrive, Access, Preserve and Create—will be displayed on the construction hoarding around Churchill Square on the west side of the square near the wading pool. Join us for free Pinocchio ice cream and be the first to take a picture with The City Plan values.

The City Plan charts out how we will get to a future city, a city that has the benefits we enjoy today with new opportunities for the future. The City Plan is about our spaces and places and how we move around the city. It is about our community and what we need to do together to grow, adapt and succeed.
