October 25, 2023
On October 29, Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) will provide Park & Ride service for the 2023 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ game between the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames.
For fans attending the Sirius XM® Stage Pregame Concert at Clarke Stadium, Park & Ride buses start running, from the locations listed below, at 12:45 p.m. and continue approximately every 10 minutes. Clarke Stadium doors open at 1 p.m. for the event.
When Commonwealth Stadium doors open at 3 p.m., Park & Ride buses will run approximately every five minutes. After the game ends, Park & Ride buses will run from Commonwealth Stadium until the stadium is deemed clear.
Park & Ride lots:
- Davies Transit Centre (100 Davies Station NW at the corner of 75 Street and Wagner Road)
- Eaux Claires Transit Centre (97 Street and 157 Avenue)
- Lewis Farms Transit Centre (1021 Webber Greens Drive) - arrive early as this location has limited parking spots due to Valley Line West LRT construction.
- NAIT Lots A/B and D (109 Street and 118 Avenue) - parking is $6 at these lots.
- Nakî Transit Centre (15520 Campbell Road)
Riders can also park at the following locations and take the Capital Line LRT to Commonwealth Stadium:
- Clareview Transit Centre (48 Street and 139 Avenue)
- Belvedere Transit Centre (62 Street and 129 Avenue)
Bus routes 2, 3 and 101 also provide service to Commonwealth Stadium.
Regular fares apply on Park & Ride buses, regular ETS routes and Capital/Metro LRT service. From approximately 3 p.m. until the stadium is clear on October 29, there will be increased Capital Line trains service.
Skip the Line - Obtain Fare in Advance
To ensure a smooth and safe transit journey for everyone, and to avoid the lines on-site, please purchase your fare product before you start your trip. Operators and ETS staff do not carry change or fare products, and there are limited fare vending machines at LRT stations.
For adult and youth riders who regularly take transit to events, we recommend
purchasing an Arc card. Once you buy your card and load your fare in advance, you can just tap and go to the event. After the event, you can continue to load and use the card for your transit needs.
For non-regular transit riders or for people who live outside of the Edmonton region, you can
buy a book of 10 paper tickets or a Family/Day pass at a sales outlet. Call the outlet in advance to make sure they have the fare product you need.
Arc tickets can also be purchased in advance at any of our LRT stations using a debit or credit card.
Know Before You Go at Commonwealth Stadium:
All guests are encouraged to arrive and enter Commonwealth Stadium early to go through security screening lines. Gates will open two hours prior to puck drop.
There will also be supervised bike parking around the Clarke Stadium area.
The City of Edmonton is committed to providing a safe, fun and inclusive experience for everyone who visits our city facilities.
