A rezoning application has been submitted to the City to facilitate a major redevelopment of the Bonnie Doon Centre shopping mall site. Share input on the proposed rezoning at a public engagement session.

The proposed zone would allow for a high-density, mixed-use, transit-oriented development consisting of:
- Row housing, mid-rise and high-rise development with up to 6,000 units
- Retail, office and other commercial space up to 93,000 square metres
- Publicly-accessible parks and open spaces
- Underground parking
- New streets throughout the site including bicycle lanes and pedestrian priority
- Connections to Bonnie Doon LRT
