The City of Edmonton is opening spray parks in time for the Victoria Day long weekend.
On Saturday, May 21, the majority of spray parks will be open for use throughout the city. The remaining spray parks should be activated within the next two weeks. A full list of City spray parks and their operating status is available online at
edmonton.ca/SprayParks. The High Park and Glengarry spray parks will not open this season due to planned construction.
“Spray parks are a great way to beat the heat in your neighbourhood this summer,” said Caitlin Zerebeski, Acting Director of Infrastructure Maintenance. “The spray park is a great place where all Edmontonians can find personal and community wellness under the sun.”
The City of Edmonton has a total of 74 spray parks located throughout the city.
