The City of Edmonton is opening spray parks for splashers citywide to help beat the heat.
Effective today, June 1, 30 spray parks are open for use throughout the City. The 43 remaining spray parks will be opened within the next three to four weeks as crews continue inspections and activation procedures. Full lists of which spray parks are currently open, and which will be opening, are
available online. The Glengarry spray park will not open this season due to upcoming construction.
Edmontonians are reminded to enjoy these spaces safely, and ensure they are following gathering restrictions, maintaining physical distance, and not using these spaces if they are feeling ill. Masks are not recommended to be worn in the water.
The City of Edmonton has a total of 74 spray parks located throughout the City.
