Upcoming LRT station closures due to planned work
November 21, 2023

On November 25 and 26, crews will perform planned maintenance work on the Capital Line near Corona LRT station. To help ensure work is conducted safely and efficiently, Central, Bay/Enterprise Square, Corona and Government Centre LRT stations will close for the duration of those two days. In addition, trains will not run between Churchill and University LRT stations. To support riders, LRT replacement bus service will be provided.

Riders can catch LRT replacement buses, running every 7 to 8 minutes, at any of the bus stops marked with blue signs that say “LRT Replacement.” Locations are listed at edmonton.ca/lrtreplacementservice.

Capital Line trains will continue to run every 15 minutes from Clareview to Churchill and from University to Century Park LRT stations. Metro Line trains will also run from Churchill to NAIT LRT Stations every 15 minutes. Valley Line Southeast LRT service is not affected.

Regular LRT maintenance and renewal projects are an important part of providing a more reliable and efficient service. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while these maintenance projects are completed.
