Sunday Night Ice Cream Social

On Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 9-10 PM, we encourage you to attend PSA's traditional Ice Cream Social located in Agora/Centerville (on the first floor). Sponsored by Elanco, this event gives meeting attendees the opportunity to connect before the meeting kicks off on Monday.
Bon Temps F ê te
Traditionally, PSA hosts a BBQ event as part of the Annual Meeting. This year the Bon Temps F ê te ("Good Time Party") will offer an insight into unique Canadian cuisine in conjunction with an extravagant casino night!

All attendees at the event will receive play cash for the casino games. This is a perfect opportunity to try your hand at Black Jack, Roulette, and Poker! PSA will also be raffling off limited edition PSA poker chip sets. All attendees will have an opportunity to win just by attending. So place your bets and prepare to have a great time, this is one exciting event you're not going to want to miss!

The Bon Temps F ê te will be held at the Windsor Station from 6-10 PM on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Windsor Station is just a short walk from the hotel. Directions are provided in the Program Book.
Poster Presentations
The boards will be 42 inches wide and 48 inches high. Please do not exceed your allotted space. Poster viewing will be held on Monday through Wednesday afternoon.

Monday’s Posters:
These posters must be in place by 8:00 AM on Monday, July 15, 2019.
These posters must be removed by 10:30 AM on Tuesday July 16, 2019.

Students participating in the Student Award of Excellence Competition are REQUIRED to be present by their poster during the competition on either Monday or Tuesday depending on the assigned date for each presenting student’s section. Judging will be held on Monday, July 15, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Tuesday, July 16, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The exhibit hall will be closed to all but those competing in the Student Competition from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

All presenting authors are REQUIRED to be present by their poster from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the day of presenting. The reception will continue until 6:30 PM. Presenting authors may take a short break at his/her discretion.

Asian Colleague Luncheon
All colleagues residing in Asia, or from that area but currently residing elsewhere, are invited to attend the Asian Colleague Luncheon on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 12-1 PM at the Annual Meeting.

Please note that the deadline to RSVP for this event has ended. You are still welcome to attend, however, seating is limited.
Latin American Colleague Luncheon
All colleagues residing in Latin America, or from that area but currently residing elsewhere, are invited to attend the Latin American Colleague Luncheon on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 12-1 PM in Centreville (First Floor).

PSA Transition to Elsevier & Open Access
PSA recently announced a new publishing agreement with Elsevier, Inc. along with the move to Gold Open Access, both of which will begin in 2020.
