PSA was on hand to welcome the newest members of the Oakwood Community at this year’s Big Step Breakfast. The morning was full of sunshine and warm greeting for all in attendance.

After a summer away from friends, returning to Oakwood's campus is always good. This year’s welcome back featured a Luau complete with the traditional greeting of presenting lei to all, hula dancers, a fashion show, a ukulele player, and fire dancers. Aloha, y’all! 

After what may have seemed like an eternity, many Oakwood parents were able to enjoy a night out with good friends, food, and conversation. The Parent Social was held at the Meating Ground Café in Winterville, providing an atmosphere for a great evening out.

Oakwood put its best foot forward as it welcomed our student body's Grandparents and very special friends. 

Sweet treats and a cup of hot chocolate filled with marshmallows are just the right mix for a not-so-warm November day. 

It’s always a pleasure to provide a holiday meal (with trimmings) while spreading the cheer to the staff and faculty. Happy Holidays!

A favorite of the Oakwood family is back in person! Bingo Night offered a night of family fun as callers Dan and Ellyn Quesnel kept the crowd at the edge of their seats waiting for their numbers to be called. 

The 2023 International Festival showcased Oakwood’s diversity and allowed the community to show their pride and culture while sharing the delights of their homeland.

Goodies galore with an even sweeter surprise as the Greenville Police Department came through!

Thanks to the Oakwood community’s generosity during many of the PSA’s fund-raising events, the PSA Graduating Senior Scholarship has been established. The inaugural Scholarship’s awardee is Emily Quesnel, whose winning essay drew admiration and praise from the selection committee. Congratulations to Emily and all the participating seniors!

PSA’s Jolly Cart rolled through campus all year long spreading joy and cheer to the remarkable faculty and staff!

The PSA bids a fond farewell to Sarah Helms and Jenny Rawls. 

For the past several years, Sarah and Jenny have been the force behind many of the successful events sponsored by your PSA while serving as our Hospitality Co-chairs. From the Big Step Breakfast at the beginning of the school year to the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon at the end, Sarah and Jenny could be seen pacing the events from setup to breakdown ensuring that everything fell in line with their vision. We will miss you, Sarah and Jenny!
