Multimodal Transportation Fund (PennDOT) This program is intended to provide financial assistance to municipalities, councils of governments, businesses, economic development organizations, public transportation agencies, and ports and rail freight entities to improve transportation assets that enhance communities, pedestrian safety, and transit revitalization. PennDOT is currently accepting applications for the FY 2023-24 Multimodal Transportation Fund until November 14, 2022 at 4PM.


COVID-19 ARPA PA Small Water & Sewer Grant (CFA-DCED) Grants for small water, sewer, and storm water infrastructure projects. Act 54 of 2022 appropriated $105.6 million of American Rescue Plan Act funds to the PA Small Water and Sewer Program. Activities to assist with the construction, improvement, expansion, or rehabilitation or repair of a water supply system, sanitary sewer system, and storm water system projects. Eligible projects are those which have a total project cost of not less than $30,000 and not more than $500,000. Deadline to submit application is December 21, 2022.


COVID-19 ARPA H2O PA – Water Supply, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Water Projects (CFA-DCED) The H2O PA Act was established by the General Assembly in July 2008. The Act provides for single-year or multi-year grants to municipalities or municipal authorities to assist with the construction of drinking water, sanitary sewer and storm water projects. Act 54 of 2022 appropriated $205.4 million of American Rescue Plan Act funds to the H2O PA – Water Supply, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Water Projects Program. A minimum for $500,000 or more and a maximum of $20,000,000 for any project. Deadline to submit application is December 21, 2022.


Recycling Program Development and Implementation Grants – 902 (DEP) This grant program reimburses counties and municipalities 90 percent of eligible recycling program development and implementation expenses. Application deadline is October 28, 2022 @ 3:00 P.M.


Recycling Program Performance Grants – 904 (DEP) Recycling Program Performance Grants are available to all Pennsylvania local governments with recycling programs. The grants awards are based on the total tons recycled and the applicant's recycling rate. Application deadline is December 30, 2022 @ 3 P.M.


Boating Facility Grant Program (PFBC) The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) offers the next round of Boating Facility Grants to help communities capitalize on the surge in new boating activity. The Boating Facility Grant Program provides grants for planning, acquisition, development, expansion, and rehabilitation of public boating facilities located on the waters of the Commonwealth.  Funding requests require a 50% local match. The deadline for applications is December 30, 2022.


COVID-19 ARPA Community Conservation Partnership Program (C2P2) (DCNR) For this special supplemental round, municipalities with populations of less than 5,000 need to provide only a 20% local match with no restrictions on project size. In addition, $8 million is available for tree planting, lawn conversion, and streamside buffers. You may also apply for recreation and conservation planning, land acquisition and conservation, motorized trails, non-motorized trails, rehabilitation and development of public parks, recreation facilities, greenways, and river conservation projects. Deadline to apply is October 27, 2022.
