Hello, Juniors and Families,


PSAT Day is coming up on October 14.


Here’s everything you need to know so that test day goes smoothly. On Tuesday, October 14, Beaver is administering the PSAT exam for students in grade 11. Please check out the PSAT Student Guide for everything you’ve ever wanted to know and more!

Before Test Day

  • Download Bluebook (Mac/PC: [link] • iPad: App Store)
  • Personal Chromebooks are not supported by Beaver; if that’s your primary device, click here to request a Beaver loaner
  • Bring your laptop to class meeting on October 9 so we can check your tech together

On October 14: Test Day

Where to go:

  • Green Gym for standard time testers
  • Rogers Room for extended time testers


Day of logistics:

  • Be at school by 7:45 a.m.
  • Test ends: around 11:00 a.m. (standard) and around 12:15 p.m. (extended)
  • After testing: Lunch, then afternoon classes, and Afternoon Activities
  • If you opted out: come to school by 12:00 p.m.

🎒Pack for Success

What to bring:

  • 💻 Charged laptop (and your charger, just in case)
  • 🥤 Water and a snack to keep you going
  • 🔢 Calculator, if you want, Desmos is already built in. If you bring your own, here is the list of acceptable items


What to leave at home:

  • 📱 Phones and smartwatches (you’ll have a timer in Bluebook)
  • 🧢 Hats/hoods (except for religious coverings)


⚡ Most important: charge your laptop the night before! You’ve got this—and we’re here to help if you need anything.

💻 Accommodations

  • Instructions: If you already have approved accommodations with the College Board
  • Instructions: If you qualify and want to register for extended time (Deadline 9/19)
