PSC 101: Ongoing Regulatory Review
The Public Service Commission is undergoing its periodic regulatory review (Docket No. 2020-247-A), during which the agency (virtually) brings in experts to update and refresh the agency on major components of utility regulation. From the Blog: Dominion Decision Basics
Following the Commission's decision in Docket No. 2020-229-E, Commission staff wanted to provide more context for the average consumer. We posted a blog to SC Utility Consumer that includes more details on what this means for South Carolina ratepayers and even got into the etymology of the word "tariff." Read that blog at this link and be sure to follow SC Utility Consumer on Facebook and Twitter for the latest consumer-relevant information.
Reminder: The Public Service Commission will be closed on Monday, May 31st in recognition of Memorial Day. We will reopen at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1st.
