Six faculty members inducted into Academy of Teaching Excellence

The following faculty were inducted into PSC's Academy of Teaching Excellence on April 2: Instructor Patricia Agcaoili, Adjunct Faculty Member Katherine Gaskill and Assistant Professor Julie Watkins from the Allied Health Department; Instructor Jared Iserman from the Natural Sciences Department; and Assistant Professor Kimberly Markwick from the Applied Technology and Professional Services Department. Outstanding New Faculty honors went to Instructor Terolyn Lay, Ed.D., from the Natural Sciences Department. 

PSC team earns top ranking in the worldwide Business Strategy Game


PSC business students Haley Thompson, Kevin Weaver and Tacoryal White (pictured) and Kadiyah Nelson are Industry Champions of the Business Strategy Game (BSG®). This online simulation exercise assigns student teams to run an athletic footwear company in a head-to-head competition against rival companies managed by students from other colleges and universities.

PSC presents the Pensacola Guitar Orchestra Annual Spring Recital


The 43rd Annual Spring Recital of the Pensacola Guitar Orchestra, under the direction of PSC Professor Joe Stallings, will feature the eight-member guitar orchestra, soloists from PSC and UWF, and prize winners from the 2026 Pensacola State College Finger Style Acoustic Guitar Competition. The recital takes place this Saturday, April 11, in the Ashmore Auditorium.

Student Spotlight: Terra Black

Vet tech major is bound for MIZZOU College of Veterinary Medicine

Veterinary technology major Terra Black has found the program at PSC both challenging and rewarding. Completing the program in May, she is prepared to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
