250 Years Proud campaign marches into spring

Pensacola State College was 250 Years Proud in February with a military appreciation cookout, “A Prelude to the Revolutionary War” lunch-and-learn lecture, a flag-raising ceremony at the Century Center and Military Appreciation Day basketball games. Additionally, on Presidents’ Day, four PSC students competed in the first Florida College System Sunshine State Debate in Tallahassee. The college’s 250 Years Proud celebration of our nation’s semiquincentennial continues in March.

Visual Arts students rope in honors at the 2026 ADDY Awards


Fourteen students from the PSC Visual Arts Department won 27 ADDY awards at AAF Pensacola’s Creative Rodeo-themed American Advertising Awards gala on February 20.

Photography student Andrew Johnson wins Jacos annual PSC Sunset Photography Contest


Restaurant owner Wade Beroset announced the winners of this year’s PSC Sunset Photography Contest on Wednesday, March 4, at Jaco’s Bayfront Bar & Grille. PSC photography students Andrew Johnson and Kelena Jenkins won first-place and second-place honors, respectively.
