Disability Pride Philadelphia Inc and Disability Equality in Education
have partnered together to ask Governor Tom Wolf to proclaim every October
"Disability ACTION Month". Why action??

Disability ACTION Month is about taking a positive step forward in the world to affect positive change for everyone. Whether you take a seminar in accessibility, ask about how your organization can become top of the board in the inclusion game, learning the history of our fight for civil rights and including in the curriculum in our children's schools, have job fairs, have an event where everyone can learn about how to become more inclusive, learn to take PRIDE in your identifying as a disabled person, and so many more ways!! Take that positive action!!"

Please click on the link and add your name to our petition. Thank you again for taking the time to consider this. Inclusion is the Future!!

Lead On!

All across the country, schools and community groups run summer meals sites where kids can eat breakfast and lunch for free. No Kid Hungry helps local organizations launch and operate these sites, and we also help fund needed equipment like  mobile meals trucks .

But neighborhood meals sites aren't much good if families don't know about them. That's why No Kid Hungry runs  a summer meals texting service . Parents, grandparents and caregivers can text ‘FOOD’ to 877-877 to find free summer meals sites in their neighborhoods.

Thanks to the support from our partners and donors, over a million families have used our texting service to find healthy meals for their children.
