PSD schools again participated in the annual C.A.N.S. Around the Oval canned food drive this fall at Colorado State University. Students from eight schools in PSD gathered non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Bank for Larimer County. Learn more about PSD's CANtributions. >>

Registration, school choice beginning soon 


Are you ready for the 2023-24 school year? School choice, online registration, and kindergarten registration are all coming up soon. >>


School Choice

First-round school choice applications will be accepted Nov. 1 through Dec. 15. The choice process is for families wishing to enroll their children in schools outside their neighborhood attendance area next year. Learn more about school choice. >> 


Registration

Online registration for next year will be available to all grade levels starting Nov. 28.


Kindergarten Registration

Need to register in person? PSD elementary schools will offer on-site kindergarten registration help on Dec. 7, or families can register online starting Nov. 28.

Building home and community


Poudre High School hosted the "We Build Breakfast" fundraising event Wednesday with Habitat for Humanity. Students from PHS' own Geometry in Construction class raised a wall on a new home - the eighth the class has built for nearby families.


Honoring a longtime PSD educator 


Armon Johannsen, the namesake of Poudre School District's Johannsen Support Services Complex at 2407 Laporte Ave., passed away recently at the age of 87. During his illustrious career in public education, Johannsen served as principal of Fort Collins High School and a key member of central administration. Learn more about Mr. Johannsen. >>
