PSD one of three districts to receive mental health grant

The Colorado Department of Education has selected three school districts, including PSD, to participate in a four year, grant-funded initiative called Project AWARE (Advancing Wellness and Resiliency in Education). As a Project AWARE district, PSD will receive a total of $1.56 million to grow mental health programs and services and hire more mental health professionals. This initiative will provide a huge boost for the district's goal of increasing a sense of belonging for all students and enhancing mental health and wellness services. Ice Fishing Adventures

Students from the PSD Mountain Schools (Livermore, Red Feather Lakes and Stove Prairie) made the most of a chilly winter weekend by participating in the Second Annual Ice Fishing Day, hosted Jan. 21 by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Students caught fish and even made their own hockey rink!
