WSSDA executive honors PSD Board of Directors
On Monday evening, December 10, Executive Director of Washington State School Directors' Association Tim Garchow presented the Puyallup School District Board of Directors with their fifth consecutive Board of Distinction Award.

As members of the PSD Board of Directors, "You are part of the largest collection of elected officials in the state," said Garchow. "The work you are doing in Puyallup puts you at the top in the state."

Of the 295 public school districts in Washington, only 29 have been honored with this recognition in 2018. Puyallup's five year run is "rare in this state," said the WSSDA executive.

Student athletes excel

Approximately 1,800 student athletes participated in fall sports this season, nearly 20 percent of the secondary student body.

Director of Instructional Leadership, Athletics, Health and Fitness Jim Meyerhoff presented the Fall 2018 Athletic Accomplishments to the Board of Directors on Monday evening. Check out the amazing achievement using the link below.

On the spot admissions

At Rogers High School, students have the chance to meet with college admissions staff and secure acceptance without leaving their high school campus.

On The Spot admissions events have taken place several times at RHS this fall. Recently, Central Washington University was on site to meet with students individually, review transcripts, and pre-accept many to their college!

Video producer Andy Lynch followed along. Check out his latest video.
