The Pacific Southwest District 2026 Pastors' Conference, takes place September 27–30, 2026, at Faith Community Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The registration deadline has passed, thanks to everyone who registered. We are looking forward to a great conference with valuable opportunities for spiritual renewal, fellowship, and professional encouragement alongside colleagues from across the district. The conference will provide meaningful worship, engaging sessions, and time to reconnect and recharge for ministry.

Gifts to the 2026–2029 LCMS National Offering are making matching grant funds available to support LCMS congregations and their ministry efforts to share the Gospel with children, youth, young adults, and families.

The “Christ Is Risen! Tell the Next Generation” Grant program offers matching awards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to help LCMS congregations, districts, and Recognized Service Organizations initiate or expand local faith formation projects.

The purpose is to fund new or expanded local initiatives that strengthen Christ-centered homes and pass on the faith to children, youth, young adults and families.

The first application deadline in September 15 with additional review cycles offered in future application windows.

On Friday, September 18 from 4:00-5:30 pm we have a special opportunity for an in-person, hands-on AI workshop especially for ministry, education and administration led by Microsoft's Barbara Andrews (wife of Pastor Arthur Andrews, Hephatha Lutheran-Anaheim, CA).

Learn how to create professional documents, presentations, reports, emails, social media posts, devotionals, images, and more. This free workshop will be held at the Pacific Southwest District Office.

It's easy to pour yourself fully into your calling while forgetting to take time for your own renewal. That’s why Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) created the Grace Place Wellness Sabbatical Scholarship program.

This year, we’re offering six scholarships valued at up to $7,500 each to pastors and other called church workers throughout The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).

Colleges across the country have already begun a new school year or will begin in the coming weeks. College also remains a place where young people walk away from the faith, with estimates of up to 70% of students falling away. What can we do about that sobering reality? Make sure that the college student in your life gets connected with a church home and pastor for their vulnerable college years, especially if they are leaving home.

Lutheran Campus Connection is the place for them to connect with fellow LCMS students along with reaching out with the Gospel to other students on campus. We will have Bible Study on campus the first Thursday of each month with other activities in the future.
