The ReMA Paper Stock Industries (PSI) Chapter has launched its 2027 scholarship program, and the scholarship requirements and new application are posted HERE. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2027. PSI encourages graduating high school seniors to apply well before the deadline in case there are any problems or missing pieces in their applications.
The PSI scholarship program provides funds to select students who are dependents of employees in the recycling divisions of PSI Chapter member companies. Please note: Dependents of company owners or principals are not eligible to apply.
PSI scholarship winners can use the funds to pay for tuition and pursue a degree or certification program at any two-year or four-year post-secondary institution or trade school.
This past year, PSI awarded $55,000 in scholarships to 21 students, including one $5,000 grand-prize scholarship and 20 $2,500 merit scholarships. PSI member companies that had one or more PSI scholarship student in 2026 included Bloomberg LP, CellMark, Circular Services, Graphic Packaging International, International Paper, PADNOS, Pioneer Industries International, Pratt Recycling, Smurfit Westrock, The Wilmington Group, and Van Dyk Recycling Solutions.
