Rocks It in Chicago!

More than 100 attendees turned out for the PSI Chapter’s “PSI Palooza” welcome reception last night (Oct. 18) at the Marriott Marquis Chicago. The chapter held the event, in part, to thank companies that have donated (so far) to its scholarship fund and, in part, to revive its in-person meeting tradition at the Paper and Plastics Recycling Conference, being held Oct. 19-20 at the Marriott Marquis. The PSI reception, which was postponed the past two years due to the pandemic, gave attendees the opportunity to reconnect with industry friends and customers in a casual social setting.

As a bit of fun, PSI handed out tie-dyed “PSI Palooza” bandanas to attendees at the reception. Individuals who bring their bandanas to the PSI-sponsored panel session on the OCC/Mixed Paper markets—Thursday, Oct. 20, from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.—will be entered in a drawing for a door prize.
