BIG TENT 2019 DATES AND LOCATION ANNOUNCED

Baltimore, Maryland has been selected as the location for Big Tent 2019. The event will be held August 1-3 at the adjacent downtown Radisson and Lord Baltimore Hotels.
PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH TRIENNIUM

The Presbytery is sponsoring a delegation to attend PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH TRIENNIUM July 16-20 on the campus of Purdue University. This is for youth going into 9th grade to just completed high school. PERRY DALLAS COUNTY FUND
The Executive Council of the Presbytery has approved the creation of the Perry and Dallas County Fund . This Fund is set up to provide aid to mission work in Perry and Dallas Counties. In particular, funds will be provided to a local agency, C.E.T. Ministries. Please consider donating to this fund.
PRESBYTERIAN HERITAGE TOUR OF SCOTLAND:
September 12-22, 2019

Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham is planning a Presbyterian Heritage Tour of Scotland for September 12-22, 2019, which will begin in Edinburgh and end in Glasgow with many places of beauty, interest and fun along the way. We would welcome members of other churches in our presbytery who might be interested in joining us for this tour! If you have an interest, please contact The Rev. Susan Clayton at IPC at 205-933-3709 or sclayton@ipc-usa.org and she can send you the itinerary, costs and other information about the trip. Come join us as we travel to the land of kirks, kilts, and kelpies!  
At the Presbytery's February stated meeting we made available a "Ways your giving makes a difference" brochure. This brochure explains how your donations are used throughout the Presbytery and the world. You may click here to download the brochure. We have around 200 hard copies at the Presbytery office if you would like to stop by and pick up copies for your church.
PHFC THRIFT STORE MONTHLY DONATION DAY AT SVPC

The next collection date is Saturday,
March 2. Bring your usable discards, gently used clothing, etc., to the Presbyterian Home for Children's reception center in the rear parking lot, below the playground of Shades Valley Presbyterian Church. Volunteers will be on hand to unload your vehicle and to give you a receipt for your tax-deductible donation. The center will be open from 8 AM - 12 noon.
