A four-day intensive program with a practical application project, the Executive Certificate in Religious Fundraising (ECRF) provides the research, tools, and customized training to meet the growing needs of leaders in religious communities and fundraisers of faith-based organizations. The focus of the ECRF is on the cultural, organizational, and philanthropic practices unique to religious institutions that in turn enable donors motivated by spiritual and religious values to experience the joy of generous giving.

Cost:
EARLY BIRD RATE: $1,300 through December 15, 2018; $1,550 full rate on or after December 16, 2018. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to register for the early-bird rate or you can pay in full. Full payment for all registrants is due by January 15, 2019. The fee covers all course materials, snacks, and dinner on Monday. Lodging and other meals are the responsibility of each attendee.

The Executive Council of the Presbytery has approved the creation of the Perry and Dallas County Fund . This Fund is set up to provide aid to mission work in Perry and Dallas Counties. In particular, funds will be provided to a local agency, C.E.T. Ministries. Please consider donating to this fund.

Volunteers will be on hand to unload your vehicle and to give you a receipt for your tax-deductible donation. The center will be open from 8 AM - 12 noon. The Art of Transitional Ministry Training

as part of the 
Transitional Ministry Consortium  

January 21 - 25, 2019

Presbytery Staff and ministers have been asking for it and we don't want you to miss it.

The Art of Transitional Ministry Training Week One will be held January 21 - 25, 2019 at Calvin Center (Atlanta). This event is perfect for individuals looking to expand their skill set or those in leadership in transitional situations including Interim Ministry. The Art of Transitional Ministry Week One program is designed for Clergy and other church staff sensing a call to transitional or interim ministry. Churches in transitional times, Committee on Ministry members and presbytery staff members will also find this 5-day conference helpful. It is also a good course for ministers in the midst of their ministry to hone skills such as how to say hello and goodbye in healthy ways, to help congregations heal and gain tools for understanding their congregation, congregational life cycles and leading the process of change.
Program begins with lunch on Monday and ends with lunch on Friday, January. Training sessions at the conference include 30 hours of classroom instruction with plenty of time for personal attention.
