Updated RPPR Instruction Guide Available

An updated Research Performance Progress Report (RPPR) Instruction Guide is now available. Burroughs Wellcome Fund Postdoctoral Enrichment Program

Submission deadline: January 20, 2025

The Postdoctoral Diversity Enrichment Program (PDEP) provides $60K over three years to support the career development activities for underrepresented minority postdoctoral fellows in a degree-granting institution in the United States or Canada whose training and professional development are guided by mentors committed to helping them advance to stellar careers in biomedical or medical research.

7th Annual Dr. Eddie Méndez Scholar Award

Submission deadline: February 1, 2025

The award recognizes outstanding postdoctoral fellows from any discipline who are conducting cancer, infectious disease, or basic science research. Individuals who are eligible are from backgrounds that are underrepresented in science based on the NIH definition. Recipients receive an honorarium and are celebrated at a scientific symposium, where they present their research findings, connect with fellow scientists and meet with Fred Hutch faculty and senior leaders.

Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research Centers: 2025 Special Interest Project Competitive Supplements (SIPS)

Submission deadline: February 28, 2025

Faculty members at the University of Pennsylvania are eligible to serve as PIs for limited-competition supplements (SIPs) to the UPenn Prevention Research Center (UPenn PRC). This year, there are 12 SIP awards that range from 2-4 years of funding (please see RFA-DP-25-126 for additional details). The UPenn PRC is a hub for of interdisciplinary, community-based chronic disease prevention and control research, training, and practice. 13th annual Regeneron Prize for Creative Innovation

Submission deadline: January 27, 2025

The Regeneron Prize for Creative Innovation, funded by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., recognizes and honors creativity and innovation by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the biomedical sciences. Together, the Biomedical Postdoctoral Programs and the Office of the Vice Provost for Research are conducting an internal competition to identify the two postdoctoral trainee finalists for Penn.

Penn Center for Musculosketal Disorders Pilot and Feasibility Grant Program

ARPA-H launches program to accelerate rare disease diagnosis

Proposers' Day: January 23, 2025

ARPA-H announces a new funding opportunity through the Rare disease AI/ML for Precision Integrated Diagnostics (RAPID) program. RAPID intends to transform the rare disease diagnostic odyssey through the development and real-world validation of AI-enabled diagnostic support systems, helping patients reach an accurate diagnosis in a fraction of the time it takes today. ARPA-H launches new program aimed at extending the healthspan of Americans

ARPA-H announces a new funding opportunity through the launch of the PROactive Solutions for Prolonging Resilience, or PROSPR, program.
