Burroughs Wellcome Fund Postdoctoral Enrichment Program

7th Annual Dr. Eddie Méndez Scholar Award


Submission deadline: February 1, 2025


The award recognizes outstanding postdoctoral fellows from any discipline who are conducting cancer, infectious disease, or basic science research. Individuals who are eligible are from backgrounds that are underrepresented in science based on the NIH definition. Recipients receive an honorarium and are celebrated at a scientific symposium, where they present their research findings, connect with fellow scientists and meet with Fred Hutch faculty and senior leaders.

Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research Centers: 2025 Special Interest Project Competitive Supplements (SIPS)

Faculty members at the University of Pennsylvania are eligible to serve as PIs for limited-competition supplements (SIPs) to the UPenn Prevention Research Center (UPenn PRC). This year, there are 12 SIP awards that range from 2-4 years of funding (please see RFA-DP-25-126 for additional details). The UPenn PRC is a hub for of interdisciplinary, community-based chronic disease prevention and control research, training, and practice. 13th annual Regeneron Prize for Creative Innovation

The Regeneron Prize for Creative Innovation, funded by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., recognizes and honors creativity and innovation by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the biomedical sciences.
