AHA - New Strategically Focused Research Network Funding-Cardiovascular Kidney Metabolic Syndrome: Heterogeneity in Women

The next AHA Strategically Focused Research Network (SFRN) will focus on Cardiovascular Kidney Metabolic (CKM) Syndrome in women. CKM Syndrome is a health disorder due to connections among heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes and obesity. The goal of the network will be to expand our understanding of heterogeneity of CKM in women and the related contributing factors. Outcomes from the SFRN should facilitate improved approaches for both prevention and treatment of CKM.
