The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) announces the opening of the Specialized Center of Research (SCOR) program

You're invited to nominate faculty for the new Pritzker Prize for AI and Science

Established in 2024, with the generous support of the Margot and Tom Pritzker Foundation, the Margot and Tom Pritzker Prize for AI in Science Research Excellence recognizes outstanding contributions that jointly advance AI and the natural sciences or engineering. The prize is based on the quality and impact of the research. The prize may be awarded for a single notable achievement or for a collection of such achievements.

2025 CSL Research Acceleration Initiative

CSL’s Research Acceleration Initiative aims to fast-track discovery of innovative biotherapies through partnerships between CSL and global research organizations. Funding Opportunity for Research Investigators Interested in Advancing Women’s Cardiovascular Health

The NHLBI is one of 12 organizations participating in the Global Cardiovascular Research Funders Forum (GCRFF), which has launched the International Research Challenge on Women's Cardiovascular Health. Through this initiative, the GCRFF will fund one world-class international research program to advance women’s cardiovascular health for up to $10 million over five years.

Burroughs Wellcome Fund Postdoctoral Enrichment Program

The Postdoctoral Diversity Enrichment Program (PDEP) provides $60,000 over three years to support the career development activities for underrepresented minority postdoctoral fellows in a degree-granting institution in the United States or Canada whose training and professional development are guided by mentors committed to helping them advance to stellar careers in biomedical or medical research.

PSOM Limited Application - Mathers Grant Program (Spring Cycle)

The University has been invited to nominate three candidates for the Mathers Grant Program (Spring Cycle). The Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) is managing the final candidate review and selection process. Each school within the University may submit the names of up to three candidates.

Diabetes Research Center Pilot & Feasibility Program Call for Proposals

Submission deadline: December 9, 2024

The Diabetes Research Center (DRC) of the University of Pennsylvania is now accepting applications for support to perform pilot and feasibility studies in diabetes and related endocrine and metabolic disorders. The P&F program is intended to support new investigators and established investigators new to diabetes research. Funding level maximum is $75,000, which includes up to 25k for use in DRC/IDOM core facilities.

Penn Transplant Institute’s Center for Transplant Science and Innovation Pilot Grant Program

ARPA-H launches program to develop tear-based biomarker measurement platform

Proposers' Day: December 12, 2024

ARPA-H announces a new funding opportunity through the Ocular Laboratory for Analysis of Biomarkers (OCULAB) program. OCULAB seeks to develop a tear-based biomarker measurement system that can be inserted into the tear duct for continuous health monitoring and provide ultra-precise medication dosing for personalized treatment via a closed-loop delivery system. ARPA-H launches program to create high-quality, diverse, representative medical imaging data exchange platform

Proposers' Day: January 9, 2025

ARPA-H announces a new funding opportunity through its ImagiNg Data EXchange (INDEX) program. INDEX intends to develop an exchange platform to connect medical imaging data providers, users, and services to create robust and trustworthy AI tools for radiology, pathology, and surgical imaging. Through a forthcoming solicitation, INDEX invites proposals across three technical areas: business model and business plan, system architecture design and implementation, and enrollment.

ARPA-H Announces New Funding Opportunity to Make AI-enabled Tools More Reliable
