Important Information for our
 Preschool - 8th Grade Families!
Dear Parents, 
 
Welcome to St. Peter Chanel Parish School of Religion. Classes begin this Sunday!  Class assignments were emailed to families in the last few days. If you did not receive an email, please contact us and we will let you know where your children have been placed. Please take a moment to read the updated information regarding classes and procedures. You can jump to a topic by clicking the orange links on the left. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

I also want to take this opportunity to say goodbye to Shannon Hill. After much discernment, Shannon has decided to pursue her vocation as a a full-time mom! We will miss her but know how special this time is!

EMERGENCY 
ACTION PLANS
We want to make sure that your child is treated effectively in the event of a medical emergency. If your child has a life-threatening medical concern, please complete the appropriate form below and submit it to the PSR Office prior to participation in any PSR class or event.
SIGNATURE FORMS DUE!
Please be sure to turn in your PSR signature forms this Sunday! Forms may be dropped off at the St. Peter Chanel reception desk or in the Blessed Trinity lobby this weekend.  If you can't find them, blank forms will be available in the BT lobby for you to complete during your child's PSR session. PRESCHOOL INFORMATION
We love to see our new preschoolers and hope this information is helps you to have a great first day!
  • Preschool PSR takes place in the St. Peter Chanel building in the preschool hallway.
  • This first day will be a full session. We invite you to come and meet meet your child's teacher(s) in the first fifteen minutes of the session. Usually, we recommend that if you have both preschoolers and older children, you take your older children to class first, but please do what works best for your family!
  • Please take this time to verify important information with their teachers.  
  • We will then have a great time getting to know your little ones and see you at 10:15 or 12:00!
  • There is NO CARPOOL system for Preschool PSR.
  • Please be sure to park in a spot in the lot and walk your child into/out of the building to/from their classroom.
  • Please do not park or leave your car unattended at any yellow curbs or under the archway. These cars will be ticketed. We thank you for your cooperation in keeping everyone safe.
GOOD SHEPHERD INFORMATION
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) falls under the umbrella of PSR, and we are looking forward to seeing you. Welcome back!
  • CGS takes place in the St. Peter Chanel building in the back hall classrooms.
  • Our first session will meet for the entire class time:
    • 8:45 Session - 8:45-10:15 am
    • 10:30 Session - 10:30 am-Noon 
  • Each CGS Level has its own atrium:
    • Level I meets in Classroom 5
    • Level II meets in Classroom 3/4 
    • Level III meets in Classroom 6/7
  • There is NO CARPOOL system for CGS.
  • Please be sure to park in a spot in the lot and walk your child into/out of the building to/from their classroom.
  • Please do not park or leave your car unattended at any yellow curbs or under the archway. These cars will be ticketed. We thank you for your cooperation in keeping everyone safe.
ELEMENTARY INFORMATION
The first PSR session for K-5th will include an opportunity for the parents to meet their child's teachers during the first or last 15 minutes of class. During this time, please take a moment to check your contact information, as well as speak to the catechists regarding any personal information, such as allergies.  
  • All Kindergarten through 5th Grade classes meet at Blessed Trinity. We will have signs posted to help you get where you need to be.
  • Our first session will meet for the entire class time:
    • 9:00 Session - 9:00-10:15 am
    • 10:45 Session - 10:45 am-Noon 
  • Catechists are usually in their room 10 minutes prior to the start of the session. We are very grateful for the dedication of our volunteer catechists who make every effort to be there on time. If you arrive at the door and the catechist is not there, please help us out by staying in the room until a catechist arrives. 
There will be NO DROP-OFF CARPOOL 
for the first day of classes!

  • There is no pick-up carpool procedure for our elementary children. Parents are to pick up their children at the end of the session at the classroom doors. We will only release children to parents.
  • Please park in designated parking spaces ONLY. The parking lot is monitored by Roswell Police. We suggest that you use the large parking lot in the back of the building as there are two back entrances located there.
MIDDLE SCHOOL INFORMATION
Welcome to Middle School EDGE! Just a reminder or if you are new, below are some of the changes that you and your student can expect this year:

  • Our first EDGE session will meet for the entire time.
  • Morning Session: 10:30 am-Noon - All students in the 6th-8th grade morning session meet in and depart from the Auxiliary Gym at Blessed Trinity High School.
  • Evening Session:  6:30-8:00 pm - All students in the 6th-8th grade evening session will meet in and depart from McNamee Hall at St. Peter Chanel.
  • Volunteers (group leaders, hosptiality team, etc.) are still needed for the EDGE program. Contact Colleen Pittroff if you would like to help.
