PSR Newsletter: Week of December 1st

PSR families,

Happy New Year! Yesterday we began the season of Advent, which begins the new Liturgical Year in the church. During this season of Advent we are called to prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus---at Christmas and at the second coming. We have many events happening at St. Joseph during this season to help you in your efforts of prayer and creating space in your life and heart for Jesus.

This Wednesday after PSR there are 2 great events happening:

Kick-Off to Advent: Lighting the Christmas Tree, Blessing of Baby Jesus, Advent Wreath Making, Festive Drinks, and entertainment. Begins at 6:30 in the CCC.
Behold His Heart: A spiritual reflection by Deacon Selsor, Adoration, Confession followed by fellowship. Begins at 7pm in Church.

Men of the parish---I hope you join the Knights and others for a night of faith and fellowship at Advent on Tap. This is a free event, but please RSVP for accurate food count!
