Mark 12: 28-34

This Sunday we hear of scribe approaching Jesus to ask which is the greatest commandment. You may think he will share one of the 10 Commandments, but Jesus gives a different answer. Jesus replies, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength." Now that can seem like a tall order---how can I really love God with everything? This is certainly a radical command, one we are called to embrace today, to order our lives and our family's priorities around love of God and neighbor.

Challenge of the Week: What is one way this week that you can prioritize love of God? Perhaps you try listening to Christian music in the car, attending an early Mass before soccer games, or praying as a family before meals.
