If you haven’t already started celebrating by dressing up in costume and binging on your kid’s Halloween candy, then please, let the holiday festivities begin! This month is full of celebrations: like
Veterans’ Day; the
AFVA Art Auction & Holiday Boutique;
Thanksgiving break;
Band and Chorus Concerts; and an
AHS Drama Presentation. Lots of fun, family, and food you’re not going to want to miss. And what about that chill in the air? Doesn’t it make you want to grab that favorite
Spiritwear blanket, a cool new book, and read it by the fire? Well, starting November 5th CRS is having their
Book Fair Week
(you know, like Shark Week, but with books) so... you’re welcome!
We’d also like to say how thankful we are to everyone who came out for the 10th Anniversary of
Ardsley Cares Day. We’ve included a few pictures from this event here, but check out our website for more. We’re so proud: of our very own board member,
Catie Mosner, who helped chair this event along with
Emily Murphy, and
Heeral Mehta; the
AHS Cheerleaders for their kickoff performance; the
Ardsley Fire Department for their delicious pancake breakfast the morning of; and all the volunteers who gave their time, sweat, and donations. THANK YOU for making this ACD event one of the best ones yet!
PLUS, guess who’s going to be in town? The
Wizards are coming! The Wizards are coming! Yasss, this is a special event designed for Concord Road students, and it’s happening January 25, 2019, so keep your eyes peeled for more information soon. In the meantime, make sure to check out all the dates and links below and mark your calendars accordingly.
