We must be hitting a full stride in this new year, because the PTA is full of exciting news!
First, we would like to recognize Martin Luther King, Jr. Day yesterday. King's dream inspires us each day - to seek justice, to build community, and to love one another. We especially thank the Edgemont for All community organization for organizing their annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Community Walk.
Second, as colder weather sets in, we would like to share Virtual Movie Nights, brought to you by the PTA! Pop some popcorn, make some hot chocolate, and snuggle up with a blanket and your favorite crew to enjoy a series of fun family movie nights!
And finally two key dates coming up in the next week:

5 TIPS FOR STAYING GREEN THIS WINTER...
1-Turn down the heat at night or when leaving the house for a long period.
2- Keep blinds/drapes open during the day and allow in sunlight.
3- Try bundling up with an extra layer before raising the heat.
4- When on the go, reusable mugs are a great choice for keeping beverages warm.
5- Turn off unnecessary lights when you're home.
