From your PTA Presidents

We hope your 2024 is off to a happy and healthy start. The PTA has a lot to look forward to in 2024, with Winter After School Clubs beginning today, Winter Wonderland tickets on sale now, Harlem Wizards tickets going on sale tomorrow, and the school play registration coming up next week! Details on all of these exciting events can be found below.

All of this is possible thanks to our village of incredible volunteers. We are looking forward to our PTA Breakfast Bash next Friday Jan 19th at Seely Place (please RSVP here). Whether you are already volunteering, looking for opportunities big or small, or are just new to the school and interested in learning more about the PTA, please join us for a hot cup of coffee, some breakfast, and a chance to mingle with other parents. We hope to see you there!

Save the Date - Let's Get Rotten to the Core on April 20, 2024 as the Edgemont Elementary Schools and the PTA presents KJK Productions’ of Descendants. Registration will open January 16th.

Join the fun with Greenville and Seely Place families at Winter Wonderland on Friday January 26th at Seely Place from 6:30-9:30pm. Come enjoy a DJ, magician, photo booth, crafts and more! There will be pizza, drinks, and sweet and salty snacks available for cash sale.

Each year, the Fete auction helps raise funds needed for the programs that support our schools. We try to keep the event ticket prices low, while fundraising through the auction. If you have any items to donate, please click below.

The Harlem Wizards return to Edgemont on Sunday March 3rd! An email with ticket sales and more information will be sent at tomorrow at 7am.

Science Fair

Interested in Science and Experiments? We are looking for a few more volunteers to help run this year’s PTA Science Fair. Please email vpvolunteers@pta-edgemont.org if you’re interested in keeping this event going.

PTA Nominating Committee

We are looking for volunteers to serve on the PTA Nominating Committee. This important committee interviews and nominates members for open PTA Board positions next year. Please email vpvolunteers@pta-edgemont.org if you’re interested in learning more.

Please join Edgemont 4 All for our fourth annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Community Walk on Monday, January 15, 2024. We will gather at EHS at 10:00am and begin our walk at 10:30am, ending at EHS with hot chocolate and student speeches!

Please join the NYS PTA Wednesday, January 24th at 7:30pm as NYS PTA Special Education Specialist, Tina Shek, presents ideas and resources to help support our families.

Please RSVP here for Zoom details and for an opportunity to submit questions ahead of the presentation. For those unable to attend, a recorded copy of this workshop will be available at a later date.
