Jeffreys Grove Families,

We hope to see you out for Walk and Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 8. Drop-off is between 8:45 and 9:15 am. We’ll have a table at the school with fun giveaways for the kids, and across the street from school, a table with coffee for the grown-ups. Come by and say hello!

We’re prepping for our biggest fundraising event of the year, Jogging with Jeffrey. This is our third year pulling this off as an ALL-volunteer-led fundraiser.

Please help us make it successful! We still have a lot of volunteer spots to fill. If you can help during carpool (before and after school) OR during recess times (12-3), sign up HERE. You must be a WCPSS-approved volunteer to help at recess.

A big thank you to Jaimie Clark, our Room Parent coordinator, who led the Room Parent Training last Thursday evening. And thank you to the many who attended. We appreciate your time, and we’re excited that you signed up to donate your time and talents to your kids’ class.

Principal's Message

The Backpack Buddies Program provides a bag of non-perishable food and snack items for participating students to take home every week. Please complete this application to enroll your Jeffreys Grove student in the program. Please fill out one application per child. The school social worker will receive completed applications.

El Programa Backpack Buddies proporciona una bolsa de alimentos no perecederos para que los estudiantes participantes se la lleven a casa cada semana. Walk & Roll to School Day

The first Wednesday in October (October 8th) is a perfect time to celebrate National Walk to School Day. Not only does the day encourage getting some exercise, but the weather is perfect for walking to school, too.

Walking is one of the best forms of exercise. It isn't hard on our joints and feet like running and jogging, but it still gives us all the advantages. The goal of this day is to raise awareness and support for the health, community, and environmental benefits of walking or biking to school regularly.

We hope you’ll join us for a family favorite!

Our third annual Jogging with Jeffrey FUNdraiser kicks off on Wednesday, October 15th! This is Jeffreys Grove’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The students will work as a TEAM to EARN REWARDS all while raising money for our school.

Please join us at the Jeffreys Grove track on Oct. 24th for a fun-filled morning cheering on our EAGLES!

Pre-K & K: 9:30-9:55am (mini run)
1st-2nd: 10:00-10:45am
3rd-5th: 11:00-11:45am

Join us at the McDonald’s on Brennan Station on Tuesday, October 28, for an evening filled with school spirit. Come grab dinner, say hi to our amazing staff, and help raise funds for Jeffreys Grove Magnet Elementary School— because everything is better when McTeachers are in the house! 🙌🎉🦅

Display Helpers Needed!

Good at executing a vision? Handy with bulletin board displays? JG needs you!

Our amazing teachers are looking for volunteers to help put displays on the hallways around our school that showcase our kids' work on the different global leadership themes. The plans and materials will be ready to go, all you have to do is show up willing to put things on the wall!
