🍊 Invitation to Join The Juice Morning Show Crew! 🎥
Dear 5th Grade Families,
We are excited to offer 5th grade students the opportunity to be part of “The Juice”, our student-led morning show here at JGMES! 🎬 This is an amazing chance for students to develop leadership, creativity, and communication skills while helping us launch our new Global Leaders Initiative this year.
Details:
-
Who: 5th grade students interested in participating
-
When: Tuesdays, 3:45 – 4:15 pm
-
Where: Media Center
-
Start Date: September 16th
-
Transportation:
-
If your child is a car rider or walker, you will need to pick them up promptly at 4:15 PM in the carpool lane.
-
If your child is a bus rider, they can still participate and will ride the bus home.
Important Note:
Because we expect a lot of interest, students will be selected to participate for a set period of time to ensure that as many students as possible get a chance to be part of “The Juice”. Once their rotation is complete, we’ll invite the next group of students. You will receive an email with details on when your child will participate.
Being part of “The Juice” will give students the chance to:
- Lead segments on school news and events
- Share announcements about our Global Leaders competencies
- Celebrate student and staff successes
-
Gain confidence speaking and presenting on camera
If your child would like to participate, please complete this short form by Tuesday, September 9th: Intent Form
We’re looking forward to seeing our 5th graders shine on “The Juice”! 🍊
Any questions about this opportunity should be directed to Joana Gonzalez: lgonzalez2@wcpss.net.
Thank you for your support,
Juli Ventura, Principal of Jeffreys Grove Magnet Elementary
