Greetings from your PTA Presidents

We hope your families are all well and safe after all of the rain and flooding on Friday. Hopefully the weekend allowed families a chance to recharge for the busy week ahead.

Today is the final day to purchase Spiritwear - click here show off your Edgemont pride. Fall session of After School Clubs starts today. It's also the first day for Snacks for Staff - sign up here for a chance to give back to our awesome teachers and administration.

Be on the look out for a new event - PTA at the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular! Tickets go on sale on October 10th so be on the look out as quantities are extremely limited.

The PTA welcomes you to volunteer in one of our many events or committees. Some opportunities include After School Club, School Play, C.H.I.L.D, and so much more. The first Seely Place Pizza Day of the 23-24 school year was awesome! Thank you to our Seely Pizza Day chairs Gabi Maxwell and Lina Tovar and our awesome volunteers: Sylvia Emmer, Laura Goldman, Trishna Jalan, Dara Moshashvili, Suzanne Nukho, Liz Osborne, Jen Ratner and Heather Yi.

Thank you to our Greenville Photo Day chairs Stephanie Balkin, Jennie Harman, and Janet Lau and our volunteers: Ann Fedeli, Elise Houpt, Amy Lee, Jessica Leto, Jessica Moon, Pascale Naber, Payal Sanghvi, Jill Schwartz, Karen Teitscheid, Jeannie Yoo and Yelena Zabludovskaya. We appreciated your help through all of that rain and flooding!

Do you have clean socks and underwear on today? Help us make sure all kids in Westchester can answer "yes"! The Sharing Shelf helps the nearly 26% of Westchester children who live in poor or low-income homes — many of whom lack access to clean clothing, as well as everyday necessities such as socks, underwear, and shoes. Sign up now! Two sessions are available: 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 12-2 p.m. To underwrite the supplies used during these activities, we’re requesting a contribution of $50 for a group of 2 or $100 per family (up to 4 volunteers). Tryouts for Edgemont Hoops boys and girls travel teams for grades 4th through 6th, will be held October 16th through October 19th. Visit www.edgemont-hoops.com for further details and to register.

Please note that Edgemont Hoops will also offer recreational basketball programs this winter for grades 2nd through 6th. Registration will open in late October.

The Edgemont School Foundation welcomes everyone back to school! We work with administrators and teachers to enhance the education of all Edgemont students and to bring teacher ideas and requests to fruition.
