Happy Spring! In this month's email, you will find an update to the GSA Schedule, a variety upcoming training and networking events, and Michigan Celebrates Small Business 2019 awardees.

GSA Schedule Changes
Significant changes are coming soon to the GSA Schedules -- if you have a GSA Schedule/Contract or are planning to bid on a GSA Schedule, you will want to pay attention to these changes. Contact your PTAC if you have any questions.
General Services Administration (GSA) recently announced plans to consolidate the 24 Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) into one single schedule for products and services. This will  not   affect the nine (9) schedules used by the Veterans Affairs (VA).  
 In April 2019, the GSA  is planning to
  • Refresh all GSA  MAS solicitations to update proposal instructions, and
  • Issue mass modifications to existing MAS  contracts to modify clauses and provisions, make administrative corrections and other changes. GSA will issue a bilateral modification to apply the changes to existing contracts and contractors will have 90 days to accept the modification.

The Office of Small Business Programs will be hosting a virtual webinar on Doing Business with DLA. The purpose of this webinar is to educate small businesses about the DLA mission and operations; the DLA small business program; the various DLA commands and what they buy; the Procurement Technical Assistant Centers (PTAC) and the support they provide; and how to contact DLA for a more in-depth discussion.
