Cisco teams up with Curiosity Lab

Cisco is collaborating with Curiosity Lab in Peachtree Corners (NASDAQ: CSCO). A worldwide technology leader headquartered in Silicon Valley, Cisco is deploying and demonstrating advanced WiFi in the living laboratory and working toward edge computing in one of the traffic signals on Technology Parkway. The company develops, manufactures and sells networking hardware, software, telecommunications equipment and other high-technology services and products.
Soliant moving to Peachtree Corners
Soliant, a health care and education staffing company has officially announced its relocation from Tucker to Peachtree Corners.

The company will move its national headquarters to a 58,000 square-foot space at the Summit, 5550 Peachtree Parkway in Technology Park. The move brings 400 new jobs to Peachtree Corners.

As we start moving forward, and beyond the pandemic, we will keep an eye on the real estate market and changing trends. One thing we expect to see is more redevelopment, the conversion and adaptation of spaces, particularly on the south side of town.

Gwinnett Chamber asks voters to approve transit
In August, the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce agreed to ask voters to support a public transit referendum. The measure will appear on Gwinnett ballots in November. Transportation alternatives are essential for retaining and attracting businesses and high-paying jobs, said Nick Masino, of the Chamber. READ MORE
Volunteers sought for Redevelopment Agency

The City is recruiting volunteers to serve on a new Redevelopment Agency. A background in construction, law, real estate, development or related field is preferred. The mission of the Redevelopment Agency is to facilitate new development projects within the southern portion of the city, an area generally bounded by Spalding Drive to the west, Holcomb Bridge Road to the north, Buford Hwy. to the east, and Winters Chapel Rd. to the south.
