Moe's Original BBQ to open

An Alabama restaurant chain is expanding in Peachtree Corners. Moe's Original BBQ is renovating space at 5005 Peachtree Parkway in the Wellington Center near Ingles and expects to be open in the coming months. Cousins Scott and Harris Carlock are opening the restaurant.

"I have been interested in this particular location for many years as a Moe's Original BBQ, due to it being a great location for a family restaurant that will service all of Peachtree Corners, Berkeley Lake and south Johns Creek," Harris said. The restaurant's signature dish is the pulled pork sandwich, best paired with the Bushwacker, a frozen, adult ice cream drink.
"Top 10 Rib Joint" by Relish

Serving Alabama-style barbecue since 1988, Moe’s Original BBQ has been named in the Top 10 barbecue chains in America by USA Today and The Daily Meal. It also is one of the fastest growing, emerging restaurant chains by Restaurant Business Magazine, and one of the Top 10 Rib Joints in the U.S. by Relish.

Served with red barbecue and Alabama white sauces, the award-winning smoked menu features pulled pork, ribs, wings, turkey and chicken as well as fish and shrimp selections. Prepared fresh daily, a rotation of southern sides and house made desserts are also offered.
More loans, grants attainable for businesses
A second Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) was announced this month by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S. Treasury, as the federal government attempts to get funding to the hardest hit businesses. Some due dates have been extended, and extremely low interest loans are available. There are grants for shuttered businesses, such as movie theaters and live entertainment venues and a set of provisions to assist commercial landlord and tenants.
