Update Contact and Class Series Information

At PTC Headquarters, we are committed to updating PTC class leaders' contact information and past class series. Therefore, in the upcoming months, we will reach out to specific class leaders with the request to update their contact information; however, if you would like your contact information updated with PTC, please reach out to [email protected] to start the process.

Additionally, if you are an event or volunteer coordinator and have the information about past class series that not been entered into the “add an upcoming/completed class series” forms, please contact us at [email protected] to add this information to our records.

NCRAN Webinar:

Successes of Virtual Programming with Older Adult Populations

The North Central Region Aging Network (NCRAN) hosted a webinar this month on the successes of hosting virtual programs with older adult populations.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced many of us program developers and implementers to switch to virtual platforms to deliver programs to older adults and caregivers. Most of us saw positive results using virtual platforms; however, in this webinar, we reviewed the results from published articles that demonstrated older adults not only used virtual platforms but they liked them. Moreover, these programs seem to be just as effective in delivering program outcomes as in-person class series (including PTC!). Despite these benefits, there are still challenges to overcome in providing virtual platforms for every population, particularly in rural areas.

Please find past NCRAN webinars on the NCRAN website.
