Fall 2020
The purpose of the Prince PTF is to foster fellowship among teachers and parents in order to promote unity, increase parent involvement, be a source of encouragement to the PACS family, and honor God above all things.
Dear Prince Parent,

We are often asked, “What is PTF?”

The answer to that question is very simple. PTF is YOU!

As a parent organization, we seek to create a connection between parents, grandparents, and legal guardians of PACS students with the faculty, staff, and administrators of our wonderful school. We look for ways to encourage our teachers, communicate with our administration, and create fun and memorable experiences for our families – TOGETHER!

We would like to encourage you to simply come and connect. The next opportunity is at our Coffee & Conversation scheduled for November 6th in the PABC High School Loft. We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
PTF Co-Chairs
Kim Elrod and Christy Britt
Kim Elrod is married to Brian. They have four children attending Prince:
Ward (2nd), Whitney (6th), Weston (10th), and Will (11th). Kim has volunteered in many areas of the school but especially enjoys meeting with the Parents in Prayer each Tuesday morning. The Elrods are members of Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
Christy Britt is married to Matt. They have three children, two of whom are Prince alumni:
Joshua (10th), Ashley ('20), and Madison ('19). Before her role as co-chair, Christy served many different roles in PTF including room mom, grade rep, teacher appreciation chair, and homecoming chair. The Britts are members of First Baptist Church of Loganville.

Opportunities to Get Involved
*Please Note: Many of our favorite activities have been canceled for this school year due to Covid-19 restrictions. Watch for updates throughout the school year. We plan to return to a full and exciting schedule of activities when it is safe to do so.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Parents In Prayer

Please join us Tuesday mornings at 8:10 am in the Prince Pavilion as we cover PACS in prayer. You can pray silently, aloud, individually, with the group, or with a faculty or staff member. Join when you can.
Faculty Appreciation

The PTF provides monthly treats to the faculty and staff to show our appreciation for all they do on behalf of our children. Each faculty and staff member is also recognized on his or her birthday.

blesses the Prince faculty and staff at Christmas!
Grade Representative Updates
PTF Grade Representatives serve as an additional avenue of communication between Prince parents and administration. Grade Reps have quarterly meetings with the principals to convey any suggestions or concerns that have been voiced by parents.
The Grade Representative program promotes a sense
of unity and partnership throughout the school.
This quarter, grade reps discussed the following topics with their respective principals:

  • Curriculum
  • Parent/teacher conferences
  • The role of Room Moms
  • Gently Used Uniform Sale
  • Current safety procedures in place for Covid-19
  • Review of changes to school calendar and events
  • Homecoming updates
  • Emails from Young Life leaders
